So there’s this band called Phoenix. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of them. They’re from France, released a somewhat good album last year, and have appeared on a famous television program called Saturday Night Live. These French guys are also into the concept of visiting a bunch of different cities around the world and playing their music. It’s called touring. That’s something they’ve been doing a lot of recently and will continue to do in the months ahead. During their travels, they’ll also be stopping at several “music festivals” — these are rather large events where many bands (sometimes ones that no one likes) play on many different stages. It’s usually fun but exhausting.
