Washington, D.C. rapper Wale‘s performance of “Pretty Girls” (featuring The Roots) on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon was worth watching. How could it not, seeing as how his whole album was pretty impressive. But with the video for the song (via Prefix Magazine), we’ve got a few more things to appreciate the rapper for. And not all of them have midriffs.

Sure, this video doesn’t feature a hand-held Lady Gaga. but if you’re a fan of the pretty ladies, this video has plenty. But what we loved the most is Wale lip-synching a bar or two of Gucci Mane’s verse, since, you know, he couldn’t make it to the shoot. And, sure, it’s like a lot of other rap videos (pretty girls + lots of friends = crazy good time), but Wale’s unique flow and demeanor make it one party we’d actually think we could enjoy (if we ever got invited).
