More dates announced for James Taylor and Carole King’s “Troubadour Reunion” tour

Every time we tell you about the James Taylor and Carole King “Troubadour Reunion” tour, the list of dates keeps getting bigger and bigger. Now it seems like the two legendary singer-songwriters will be even more busy through most of the summer as they embark on a massive tour across the U.S.

Those in Australia can see the two reunite before anyone else as the duo plays several dates in Australia and New Zealand (including a couple in Japan) before they hit the states on May 7th in Portland, OR. Then, it’s a whirlwind of dates until the reunion comes to an end on July 20th in Anaheim, CA.

This tour really came about after the two reunited in 2007 for a show celebrating the 50th anniversary of the West Hollywood, CA, Troubadour nightclub. That gig, Taylor said, was a long time coming.

“This tour, our ‘Troubadour Reunion,’ has been waiting to happen for a long time and the years seem to have vanished, where does the time go?” Taylor said in a press statement. “When we reunited for the Troubadour’s 50th anniversary celebration, it felt like yesterday. It was and still is all about the music and the songs that we get to perform together.”
