At this point, it’s anyone’s guess what we’re going to get when MGMT unveil its sophomore studio album, Congratulations, on April 13th. (Well, aside from the scratch off cover.) We have gotten our first indication, however, as the band has unveiled the song “Flash Delirium”. Said to be a “taster” of what’s to come, the psychedelic trip mashes indie rock choruses with Of Montreal styles. Or, the first in what the band described as “a collection of nine individual musical tours de force sequenced to flow with sonic and thematic coherence.” Warning: this is far from drug free.
