For one, Yorke recently crafted a remix for the deluxe edition of Liar’s new studio album, Sisterworld. Today, the track, “Proud Evolution” (Thom Yorke 500qd Remix) appeared on the music website Blip.fm and can currently be streamed by clicking here. In possibly much bigger news, a recent interview between BBC 6Music and upcoming Atoms For Peace opener, Flying Lotus, seemed to add to fuel to the rumors that Yorke is gearing up for the release of another solo album. In response to a Yorke’s vocal contribution on the musician’s upcoming album Cosmogramma, Flying Lotus noted that he would like to work with him again, saying, “I might make a contribution or two to the next Thom Yorke album… Maybe do a remix or something. We’ll see.”
Yorke has yet to officially announce plans for the followup to 2006′s Eraser. However, last month, rumors surfaced that he had booked studio time in Los Angeles for this April. What’s more, at a recent concert in Cambridge, Yorke debuted several new selections, including “The Daily Mail”, “Give Up The Ghost”, and “Don’t Hold Me” “Mouse Dog Bird”.
