The Rhode Island rapper has a well-cemented penchant for political awareness and witty retorts, and via Prefixmag.com, Sage Francis has now officially released both the cover art for his upcoming LP Li(f)e (look to your right!) and its subsequent tour dates. With the new record boasting indie acts galore in its production and performance teams, it is an absolute pleasure to see Francis doing a nationwide support stint for Li(f)e, and we have to wonder who might be along for a most excellent ride.

Francis’ previous outing, the mixtape titled Sick Of Wasting…, rode the success of fan loyalty alongside two popular singles: the protest anthem “Conspiracy To Riot” and the David Bowie/Charlie Chaplin-sampling “Strange Fame”. We all anticipate some thoroughly scathing lyrical content on Li(f)e, and we as fans would not have it any other way.

Li(f)e is due for release on May 11th via ANTI- Records. Tickets for the upcoming dates are available via Ticketmaster.com.
