With the Stone Temple Pilots‘ comeback album coming out in May and a sample of the first single hitting the web, people have been wondering when the rest of the details would come to light. Well, that wait is over, as the band has now unveiled album artwork (the thing to your right) and tracklist for its self-titled sixth studio album.

STP’s first record since 2001′s Shangri-La Dee Da, Stone Temple Pilots will hit stores on May 25th. The 12-song LP was produced by guitar and bassist brothers, Robert and Dean DeLeo, the former of who recently stated that the music is reminiscent of “Paul Revere and the Raiders” driven by the sound of the sixties. The first single, “Between The Lines,” will be released on March 30th, but if you head on over to Rock It Out! Blog, you can listen to it now.
