Attending a live show by The Swell Season is comparable to unraveling your own emotional ball of yarn.  he folk-rock duo comprised of former lovers Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, escort revelers along their tale of finding all encompassing love, only to be lost. Their performances include acoustic compositions, gentle harmonies, heartfelt lyricism, but also crescendos of upbeat energy. All leading fans toward teary eyes, goosebumps, and shivers of a long-needed emotional release.

With the release of Strict Joy, the duo traveled across the globe so fans could share in the unique live experience. Originally planned to conclude in late February, The Swell Season have announced a return to the US for a stint of May tour dates. The tour primarily consists of stops along the eastern-half of the US, the exception being three stops in Los Angeles, two of which are Mid-March benefit shows, and the other occuring at the Hollywood Bowl July 18th.
