If you saw Simon & Garfunkel at the New Orleans Jazz Festival this weekend and thought, “Damn! I can’t hear the curly haired guy,” you weren’t alone. Mr. Garfunkel himself addressed his vocal issues during the set saying, “It’s not that the mike is not on. It’s that the voice is a little elusive right now.” (See video below)

The situation isn’t getting any better, and now fans will have to put their nostalgia on hold until July. According to their official website, the duo has postponed its upcoming spring tour “to allow for an adequate period of rest and rehabilitation” for the 68-year-old Garfunkel, who is expected to make a full recovery from the vocal strain.

So, hippes hold tight. The tour restarts on July 3rd when S&G hit Vancouver’s General Motors Place.  he rescheduled dates take the pair across Canada and include six U.S. stops.
