Along with the recent announcement of N.E.R.D.‘s new album Nothing were bound to come some previews. Here they are, via Some Kind of Awesome and TheNeptunes.org: At the recent Levi’s Relaunch Party, the soon-to-be Erykah Badu tour-mates debuted a couple of new tracks, namely “Party People” and the single “Hot & Fun”.

As you can imagine, they’re not downers, and they deliver what N.E.R.D. fans will have come to expect by now — a little bit of hip-hop, a little bit of funk rock, and plenty of bass. In the video below, the band performs “Party People” first, and it’s a catchy song that sounds quite a bit like the following song, “Kill Joy”. The final song shown in the clip is “Hot & Fun”. Also, thanks to Pinboard Blog, we can report that Nothing will arrive June 15th, possibly without any contributions from new member Rhea.
