For everyone who has been living under a rock lately, Record Store Day was three days ago, and like nearly everyone else in the music world, The Rolling Stones participated in the festivities by releasing a limited edition, hand-numbered seven-inch single that flew off shelves on April 17th.

The single’s b-side is merely a remastered version of “All Down The Line”, but the a-side features an unearthed, unheard track from the hooch and drug fueled sessions that birthed the band’s 1972 classic, Exile On Main St.

The new song, “Plundered My Soul”, is more realized and less hip-shaking than other Exile cuts, but is proving to be the perfect appetizer before three different reissues of Exile hit the street on May 18th.

Hopefully it, along with a new Keith Richards documentary, and the upcoming reissue of Exile On Main St., will be enough to satisfy the souls of fans waiting for another album.

You can stream the track below. Then, head to eBay, where bidding tops out at $99.99.
