“Rules Don’t Stop”, the lead single off their upcoming fourth album Barbara, is some quintessential WAS: A bass heavy rhythm that mixes vaguely dance, vaguely New Wave rock on top of a layer of lyricism that speaks to some more mature happening or situation. It’s a sugar sweet beat that displays their ability to describe a concept with depth without losing any of that inherent innocence to it.
Barbara hits stores June 15th. Catch the boys at several UK festivals, including Glastonbury, T in the Park, and Reading and Leeds, this summer.
