Somehow, the new Delorean record is still over a month out, but yet each of us really loves it already. It’s like their music defies the laws of time and space, much like the time-traveling car for which they are named. Weird.

Well, probably out of sheer tradition, the Spanish quartet will support their album release with a tour, split into two short legs and ending with a performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival. As BrooklynVegan notes, Delorean will pay attention to the major cities you’d expect, which may not be the best strategy, considering the prevalence of the internet in these regions. Perhaps they should try playing places not yet affected by the web, like Fresno. I’m just sayin…
