Fucked Up keep busy while not touring by… touring

By Philip Cosores on April 15th, 2010 in News, Tour

Most band updates can be reduced to a couple sentences, but are usually expanded to paragraphs to avoid looking sparse. On the other hand, an update for Fucked Up requires bullet points.

To avoid boredom between tours and recording for his primary band, Damian Abraham (Pink Eyes) has been (P4k):

  • Working with side project Millennial Reign with members of hardcore band No Warning. The new project focuses on “Clevo Style,” which is basically the really scary, doom obsessed hardcore trademarked by some Cleveland area bands. For the really interested or the adventurous: check out Integrity and Ringworm.

  • Offering “Luminous Veil” as part of  free sampler from A389 Recordings. The sampler is available for download here, or you can wait and buy the band released 7″ titled Bones…Dust…Nothing, available on Record Store Day.

  • Helping out locally in Toronto at the Keep Toronto Reading Program, whose goal should be obvious, as well as Do The Math, an informative project showing the inability of public food programs to help people of all need levels, especially those with large appetites.

But perhaps most relevant is the news that Fucked Up will enjoy their break by… wait for it …touring!  LiveDaily points out that the band will be on the road for most of May, which pretty much directly contradicts idea of this story, but really you should just be happy they are coming to your town (note: high probability that Fucked Up will in fact not be coming to your town).
