Come July, I’ll be adding to that collection as Minogue returns with her 11th studio effort. (Like how I segued my overtly long anecdote there?) Titled Aphrodite, the dance-packed release features collaborations with songwriters Stuart Price, Calvin Harris, the Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, Nerina Pallot, NERVO, and Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley. The album’s first single, “All My Lovers”, will surface late June.
“The single was one of the last tracks to be written for the album,” Minogue said in her press release. “As I was recording it I knew that ‘All The Lovers’ had to be the first single; it sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly. It gives me goose-bumps, so I’m really excited to hear what everyone thinks of it.”
We are too.
Aphrodite surfaces July 6th (via EMI’s Astralwerks Records). “All My Lovers” hits the web June 29th, but you can listen to a snippet of it now over at her official site.
