Modest Mouse maps summer tour

By Alex Young on April 14th, 2010 in News, Tour

The now Johnny Marr-less Modest Mouse will hit the road this summer for what will be their first tour dates in nearly a year. The indie rock outfit is scheduled to embark on a month long U.S. leg beginning July 1st in Broomfield, Colorado. Two dates in North the Dakotas! and appearances at Summerfest and the Pitchfork Music Festival follow before the band hops on a plan for a few more live performances in England and Ireland. You can find their upcoming itinerary below.

Also, don’t forget that Modest Mouse will reissue 2000′s The Moon & Antarctica on Record Store Day– this Saturday. (We’re still holding out hope the band will come to its senses and play this album in its entirety during these upcoming dates. So, guys, if you’re reading this, please!).

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, April 16th via Ticketmaster.com.
