Matthew Houck, the architect behind Phosphorescent, is keeping his show on the road.

The Brooklyn six-piece is currently wrapping a tour supporting David Gray and will play three shows in the Northeast before hitting the long and winding (European) road in May. The band’s management has confirmed that the U.K. headlining dates will be full band efforts, and support for the tour has not been announced. However, stateside fans, who will have to wait until June to see more of Houck & Co, can still rest assured — according to a press release, more U.S. summer tour dates will be announced.

Phosphorescent’s new LP, Here’s To Taking It Easy, will hit the streets on May 11th. (May 10th for our U.K. reader) It is the followup to last years Willie Nelson tribute album, To Willie, and is the first album of new material to feature other band members.

Tickets for the remaining shows with David Gray and the May 13th show at Mercury Lounge are available via Ticketmaster.com.

For now, check out this video below of the band playing a new song, “At Death, A Proclamation” at this year’s SXSW.
