Even though you’ve already heard nearly all of The Dead Weather‘s forthcoming sophomore effort Sea of Cowards compliments of various leaks and YouTube clips, Jack’s crew will be officially debuting the on May 3rd. However, unlike most other bands these days, The Dead Weather won’t be going the streaming route. Rather, they’ll be taking to the live room at the Third Man Records building in Nashville, TN, where they’ll perform the album from start to end. MySpace will be streaming the gig live starting at 6pm EST.

In other news, the band is currently offering Sea of Cowards‘s track “Hustle & Cuss” for the price of a re-tweet. Just head here and click either “Tweet This!” or “Post to Facebook!” button. The actual release of Sea of Cowards is still set for May 11th via Third Man Records.
