Told you something was brewing. As per a page listing on Amazon.com (via Joel’s AF Blog), a new Arcade Fire single may be here fairly soon — as in two weeks from now! The page currently lists a single called “Suburbs”/”Month of May” as due for release on June 1st. We’re still waiting on confirmation from the band’s representation (it’s Saturday after all!), but, based on the previously mentioned “Arcade Fire Presents The Suburbs” banner on the band’s website, we do know the Canadian rockers are gearing up for something. And it looks like that something isn’t too far off.

Update: Well, that was fast. According to the band’s representation, the listing is incorrect and will be taken down. Still, where there’s smoke, there’s fire?

Update #2: A postcard just released by Arcade Fire notes that its new 12″ will be in stores “in the next couple of weeks.” Yeah, this is totally happening.
