Hot off news of its second-stage-headlining appearance at Ozzfest (sixth overall), Black Label Society has revealed info on its forthcoming LP. Entitled Order of the Black, it will be the metal band’s eighth studio album and it drops August 10th on E1 Music, right before Ozzfest kicks off.

Frontman/guitarist Zakk Wylde said of the album: “The Doom Crew and I have been holed up in the Black Label Bunker for the last few months laying down some of the heaviest, sexiest tracks imaginable.  We can’t wait for Berserkers worldwide to hear the symphonic masterpiece that is the new BLS record!” Supposedly this comment was in jest (we hope), but at very least we know Wylde thinks highly of the new material.

Wylde and band will take that material on tour for the six Ozzfest dates, but that won’t be all. Black Label Society is planning a full tour following Ozzfest in support of Order. Details aren’t out yet, but for now you can check out the Ozzfest tour dates below.
