!!!, aka Chk Chk Chk, aka the Least Google-able Band Ever, has just announced its fourth record, slated for an August 24th release on Warp Records. It’s called Strange Weather, Isn’t It? and with tracks named “Even Judas Gave Jesus a Kiss” and “Jamie, My Intentions are Bass”, we imagine it’s very strange indeed.

Pitchfork hosts the album’s first single “AM/FM.” The frenetic dance number spazzes out like LCD Soundsystem on speed, which is to say it sounds about like their previous work. Inane lyrics keep the party going for five minutes, suggesting that the “really dark moments” frontman Nic Offer hinted at lie elsewhere.

Strange Weather marks the first release since drummer Jerry Fuchs’ sudden death last fall (apparently he plays on one song). The revolving-door band lineup currently includes Offer, guitarist Mario Andreoni, horn player/keyboardist Daniel Gorman, and saxophonist/percussionist Allan Wilson.

The band has not yet announced any tour plans.
