On Sunday, Sunday Times readers in the U.K. were greeted with an ad offering a free Chemical Brothers CD which includes the track “Swoon” off their forthcoming LP Further. In addition to the newest single, nine other Chem Bros songs appear on the CD. These songs, hand-picked by the band themselves, span most of their catalogue, singles and otherwise. But, sad thing is, you might not live in the U.K., or subscribe to the Sunday Times. So, what, are we just rubbing this in your face?

Well, you see, our good friends over at Some Kind Of Awesome took the lead on posting a zip file of the comp CD online that you can download at their site. The song choices are eclectic and smart, pulling tracks that signify benchmarks in their sound style. If you haven’t been a follower if this techno-duo, there is now a carte blanche open house. Take a listen around.

Chemical Brother’s are to release Further on June 8th via Freestyle Dust/Astralwerks and have some shows planned here in the states and overseas throughout the summer.
