For those not fortunate enough to be in London’s Hyde Park for the Hard Rock Calling Festival, Macca’s set will stream on the Born HIV Free YouTube channel at 8:30pm GMT (2:30pm EST), according to Gigwise. Plus, if you aren’t able to watch the stream live on Sunday, the performance will be archived on YouTube for one month.
The webcast will benefit the Born HIV Free charity, which tries to prevent HIV-positive expectant mothers transmitting the disease to their unborn babies. France’s First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, who also serves as the campaign ambassador, hopes the concert would help “share our common belief in a world where all children can be born free from HIV.”
One of the lesser talked about British festivals, this year’s Hard Rock Calling boasts a lineup full of festival mainstays. In addition to Macca, acts like Stevie Wonder, Pearl Jam, and Ben Harper and the Relentless 7 are scheduled to perform over the festival’s three days.
