Adam Stephens, one of Two Gallants, will soon be releasing his first solo effort We Live On Cliffs. Aided by a veritable cadre of indie giants, the album will be released September 28th on Saddle Creek. Preceding the release, Stephens will take the new songs out on the road in August for a handful of dates west of the Mississip, including a few with Blitzen Trapper. Check out the dates below.

“These songs are about desperation,” says Stephens. “The desperation to make something of living, to find a sense of ease, to find someone to love and to maintain that fleeting feeling of love.” To get a feel for what he’s going through, you can stream the song “The Cities That You’ve Burned” at Stephens’ website, or download it in exchange for an email address.

Meanwhile, the other Gallant Tyson Vogel was recently featured on the Graham Nash tribute album released last May.
