Two of the most crucial details missing from Belle and Sebastian‘s forthcoming batch of twee pop, Belle and Sebastian Write about Love, are the album’s release date and and a taste of its content. However, thanks to the band’s label Matador, we received both of those items today.

Belle and Sebastian Write about Love will arrive on October 11th in the UK and one day later for us in America. Of the tracks included will be “I Want The World To Stop”, which you can preview in snippet form below. According to the band, the audio preview will be part of a forthcoming mini TV show recently filmed to introduce fans to the new album.
