Alt rock workaholic Conor Oberst, the man of many bands, has dropped another surprise on us. He’s announced a very small west coast tour. “Yeah? Big deal say you”. But wait — the four date tour is very special. Opening for Mr. Oberst on this micro tour will be none other than The Felice Brothers.

Pretty cool right? Well it gets even better. After opening for Conor Oberst, The Felice Brothers will most likely saunter around the stage for a few minutes until the headliner joins them as they will also be playing as the backing band for Oberst on these four dates. Now that is cool.

The tour is restricted to California unfortunately, but if you’re out west late September/early October be sure to check out what are sure to be pretty special nights.
