Is your alarm clock not cutting it? Are you having trouble rubbing the thin film of tequila off your eyes in the morning? Try this: tumble out of bed and stumble to your stereo and pop on Jukebox The Ghost‘s Empire, their first single from their forthcoming, CoS Top-Star garnering, sophomore album Everything Under The Sun. You won’t need sugar in your coffee after this one.

Coming off a rousing performance at Lollapalooza, and the aforementioned album release September 7th, Jukebox The Ghost will hit the road for a solid month this fall to bring their piano-heavy power-pop to some smaller clubs across the country and, what the hell, an Oysterfest. The tour kicks off at Great Scott in Boston September 15th and draws a rickety little infinity symbol across the US, ending at The Black Cat in D.C. October 16th. Tickets will be on sale at the respective venues’ websites.
