The shuttle service wasn’t bad during the day, though it still could have been improved (who knows, maybe they’ll do a better job this year). But I was referring more to the end of the night when you are exhausted, mentally and physically, and you have to fear for the safety of yourself and the rest of your group because everyone turns into a wild animal to get on one of the buses when there was no sort of organization what so ever by the people running the service; and when the cops get called in to regulate and continue to do a terrible job, not to mention the fact that just about NOBODY wants to see the cops on their way home from a music festival of this sort.
Sorry, I really hated that damned shuttle service last year. Even though it was only $20 I felt like it was a complete waste.

Glad this record is getting its due — I didn’t buy it until pretty recently after seeing Pitchfork’s review, and it blew me away! It’s a whole new soundscape (“a feeling,” like he says), but without losing any nod-ability.
Ben
OH GOD! WHY JUSTIN WHY?
This fuckin autotune nonsense has to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Derpderp
NICK. WHY you so mad? You listen to radio music don’t you?

Getting used to the yearly releases. Horse Feathers are becoming a season of their own.
Kirby
Pretty cool. But too much Music to Tom ratio.

Pretty sure you mean “My Morning Jacket’s Carl Broemel.”

the video of Danzig getting knocked out at the bottom of the “evidence” link is funny …
Great review Megan. I’m jealous that you guys got A Baby for Pree up in Chicago and we didn’t in ATL. BUT we did get Fool and Little Birds instead, I’d say it’s a fair trade.
Sham
You insulted the band for 5 paragraphs then gave them 4 stars? I agree with the 4 stars, but not the review.

Like these lot, saw em wid slayer.
They lost their way to me nowadays, Crack the Skye was awful to me.
Dont see em been around another 5 yrs.

Insider said Phish is more likely to play one show at this point. I’m leaning towards fake, but I would certainly dig this lineup.
Shaun
This is actually one of the most convincing “fakes” that I’ve seen, seems like suspiciously little EDM though. Who knows.
Catenasti
agree

Pabst Blue Ribbon is a David Lynch reference amongst others. Queen of Coney Island has associations with Lou Reed’s Coney Island Baby, Darlin’, Candy Darling, you know White Heat, White Lightning… you reviewers are missing everything, like Radio and Video Games forming a pair…

James Murphy should produce the next Gorillaz album. Just saying.
BenTOSmith
“[...]
and sees Damon Albarn raping the opening two verses”
What’s he doing to the opening two verses?
Stefan
Dude, when you are working along side a “Hook Master” like Andre 3000 you just stay the fuck outta the way and go lay down some verses insread. Anybody working with Andre 3000 knows it’s best to let him handle anything but the rapping. It’s like working with Maceo Parker. Are really going to let him handle the sax parts? Of course not, Maceo can work out the key board parts, just as Maceo should. Lulz.
Totally psyched for this thing.
Stefan
Holy shit. Did not see “raping”. Settle down CoS.
Elschultzdegrande
Those are the lamest lyrics he has ever written. james mercer is a poetic genius and this cheapens his musical resume
