When did making a music video become about giving the viewer a headache? M.I.A.’s done it twice this year. Now Times New Viking follows up with an indier entry into the “Pass the aspirin” genre. Their new clip for “Teen Spirit in Hell” spazzes out in all the wrong ways.

It could have been so good too. Amidst the jerky camera work and iMovie-overkill effects, there appears to be a guy dressed as Satan. Obama pops up. I think the band’s performing somewhere in there too. It’s all a little unclear. Props to the band for trying something different I suppose, but… ow.
