If you missed Martina Topley-Bird joining Massive Attack on this year’s spring/summer tour, you missed something fierce (or so I hear). But they’re giving you a second chance, and this time you get Thievery Corporation, too! Topley-Bird joins the doubleheaders this October just as her newest LP gets a U.S. release.

The longtime trip-hop staple drops Some Place Simple October 26th on Honest Jon’s/Ipecac Recordings. The album, which she recorded at fellow Massive Attack collaborator Damon Albarn’s Studio 13, features only four new songs. The rest of the material features “reworked” versions of songs from The Blue God and the Mercury-nominated Quixotic.

Topley-Bird is currently scheduled to join Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation on all their dates from Montreal through Los Angeles. She will also reportedly do some solo performances on the tour. Her current itinerary is below.
