So A Perfect Circle is touring the west coast and The Dismemberment Plan just announced a reunion tour of the east coast? Man, at least you mid-westers are good at festivals. Anyhow, yes, DC post-punk outfit The Dismemberment Plan are reuniting this winter for their first live performances in seven three years. According to The Washington Post, they’ll be hitting DC, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York in support of the forthcoming reissue of their 1999 classic Emergency & I, due 1/11 as a double LP via Barsuk. A new record isn’t planned, but Eric Axelson tells the Post, “…we’re doing these shows and taking it day to day after that.” So stay tuned.
