What was formerly a “dusty, rhythmic, and slow burning recreation of an Idlewild outtake” now takes on a vaguely psychedelic vibe thanks to a slow, almost menacing shift in pitch and volume, turning the track into something fitting for a Prohibition-era strip club. The addition of Ross and Bun B’s verse in particular help move the track into a darker direction and add new life to a fairly vibrant ditty. The American dream isn’t dead; it’s alive and kicking in the club down the road.
