There’s only about a month and a half until Dave Matthews Band finishes up their fall tour. If you’re going to miss them this go-around, or didn’t catch them at their performances this year at Hullabalou, Bonnaroo, and Mile High Music Festival, you can settle now for the next best thing you’re going to get: a live album.

RCA Records is releasing a two-CD album with the very original name of Live In New York City, featuring DMB’s sold-out July 17, 2010 gig at Citi Field in — gasp — New York City. Likely having packed the stadium with more people than your average Mets game, the album showcases the second of two performances at the venue.

As for a release date, you can expect to see it hit shelves on September 9th. If you want a little bonus, you can pre-order the album here to receive The Big Apple Bonus Disc, which includes four songs from the first of the Citi Field performances.
