Duff McKagan reunites with Guns N’ Roses

Maybe Jesus was listening after all. Just moments ago, former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan walked onto the stage of London’s O2 Arena and joined Axl Rose — and the rest of the band’s current incarnation — for a performance of “You Could Be Mine”. It marked the first time the two men shared the stage since 1993. Update: They also played “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” and “Nice Boys”.

According to Rock Radio (via Blabbermouth), Rose claimed tonight’s reunion came about by accident because he and McKagan happened to be staying at the same hotel. He told the crowd: “There was this guy at the end of my hallway playing all this loud music and shit. What the fuck? Oh — it’s Duff!”

Update #2: We have our first video. It’s of “Nice Boys”…

Update #3: Here’s a pretty decent clip of Duff and Co. playing “You Could Be Mine”.
