Things are getting serious over in the GAYNGS camp with recent developments on the bus snafu that left them high and dry. After having to cancel the most important show of their tour at Austin City Limits, the Minnesota based collective is moving forward with plans to sue CJ Star Buses’ owner CJ Curtsinger. CityPages reports that GAYNGS and Curtsinger never came to an agreement on the contract for use of the tour bus due to disputes over usage fees. Nothing had been signed by the band/tour manager, and Curtsinger still wanted to be paid, which was the catalyst for the bus company owner to make the decision to take his bus and go home – band gear and all.

GAYNGS are looking to recoup all damages, including the loss of their ACL payday and travel expenses incurred to recover their gear in Nashville. Legal action has yet to be taken by Curtsinger.

We’ll keep you posted with new information as it comes.
