Here’s Jeff Tweedy‘s last few months in a nutshell: He lent his writing and production skills to Mavis Staples’ recent album, You Are Not Alone and then made a couple of television appearances with Staples on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Colbert Report to promote the album, which he also guests on. He also delivered a solo set at Farm aid, and recently returned to the studio with his Wilco bandmates to begin work on a new album.

Yet even despite all this, Tweedy still has enough energy leftover for a trio of solo tour dates this December. The intimate gigs are east coast biased, with performances scheduled for New York City, Tarrytown, NY, and Charlottesville, VA.
