The event had previously been spread over eight days (just like Hanukkah. Get it? It’s a celebration, bitches!) throughout New York and Brooklyn. This year, however, demand has spurred Matisyahu to take his show on the road outside of what he considers his hometown (born in PA, raised in NY). After playing the Brooklyn Bowl and Music Hall of Williamsburg, the concert will travel to Clifton Park, Boston, Baltimore, and Philadelphia before ending up in Portland, ME. Seven of the total nine dates will actually be during nights of Hanukkah, which starts December 1st and ends on the 9th.
The general public can grab tickets to the shows starting on Friday, October 22nd. If you’re a diehard, you can get in on a special pre-sale through Matisyahu’s Facebook or Twitter starting on the 21st at 10 a.m. Keep your browsers on either account page for the password to get in before the hordes.
