So the Daft Punk-penned soundtrack for Tron: Legacy got pushed back two weeks. Well, here’s something to turn those frowns upside down. In addition to the soundtrack — which, of course, will feature brand new music from the legendary electro duo — the movie’s corresponding video game, Tron: Evolution, will also feature new Daft Punk music. And we’re not talking about just the stuff set to appear in the movie/movie’s soundtrack.

Says Eric Wein, Disney Interactive senior PR manager (via Joystiq), “We haven’t announced details for the [video game]‘s soundtrack, we will soon. We can tell you it’ll be a combination of the film’s soundtrack and some unique, original music.”

So yeah… even more new Daft Punk is coming for you to spend even more money on.

Tron: Evolution is due December 7th, the same day as Tron: Legacy‘s soundtrack. Tron: Legacy, the film, arrives one week later on December 17th. Ok? Ok.
