The Ting Tings‘ current single “Hands” is the latest track to receive some Passion Pit remix action. The Boston-based outfit can’t resist a good remix these days it seems, having recently put their mark on pop behemoths Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, amongst others. For this particular endeavor, the indie pop sensations have taken the catchy hooks of The Ting Tings’ “Hands” and given it their own signature spin, resulting in a sleeker, grimier sound. The bass lines fuzz and the whole song works with a new urgency and edge thanks to Passion Pit’s treatment.

The original “Hands” appears on The Ting Tings’ forthcoming LP, Kunst, which is due out early next year. Passion Pit are also gearing up for a new album, but that probably won’t arrive for a little while longer.
