So, for the sake of this article, let’s just pretend you’re on a 10 hour road trip in your Prius. You forgot your iPod at home and your CD player has a Yanni CD stuck inside it. Yet you have this really strong urge to blast Pearl Jam and risk driving off the road due to extreme frustration unless the sweet vocals of Eddie Vedder hit your eardrums in the next five seconds.

Well, if you had Sirius XM, then you’d be in luck. To celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary, the satellite radio conglomerate has given Pearl Jam its very own channel. As is the case for Bruce and The Grateful Dead’s personal stations, Pearl Jam Radio will play just about everything from the band’s massive catalog, including concert bootlegs, unreleased tracks, and side/solo/pre-band projects from members of the band. In addition to the music, there will be a weekly fan round table hosted by the manager of the band’s fan club, titled “The All-Encompassing Trip.”

Pearl Jam Radio can be found on Sirius channel 17 and XM channel 39. If you’re at your computer, you can listen in on Sirius Internet Radio and XM Online as well.
