The lads’ sound has been described as haunting indie pop music. Sure, it’s not as frightening as your Lady Gaga costume on Halloween, but their Smiths-ian monotone and moody playing should send shivers up your spine (and we mean the good kind). Of course, there’s also a kind of romantic luster to it, making the whole thing one heck of a throwback, decidedly showing a slight blues undertone. Make no bones about it: this is a band to watch.
Birthright is available digitally starting today via Dine Alone. Also, make sure to keep an eye out for their debut LP, My Divider, set to hit stores in early 2011.
