New York natives Michael Vincent Patrick and Theodore Paul Nelson, better known by their alter ego, Designer Drugs, have become kings of the club remix circuit thanks to stellar reworkings of Mariah Carey, Fischerspooner, and Little Boots, among others. Now, Patrick and Nelson are ready to offer some original material with the release of their Ultra Records debut album, Hardcore/Softcore.

Adding to the good news is the fact that Designer Drugs also have plans to hit the road for the remainder of 2010.  They’ve scheduled dates in Canada, and will hit Korea and Taiwan before touching down in select cities in Europe. The duo make their U.S. homecoming in New York City on December 10th and are set to close out the year in San Diego, CA.

Hardcore/Softcore is scheduled for release in February 2011. To hold you over until the album release, take a peek below at the official video for the boys’ debut single, “Through The Prism”, which is scheduled to hit airwaves this week.
