The three-track download features the reworked version of “Glass” from their debut record, Entertainment!, recorded around the same time as 2005’s reimagining compilation Return the Gift. According to guitarist Andy Gill, “‘Glass’ is a song me and [singer] Jon [King] had been confused about for years.” This stripped-down rendition seems to have cleared up any incertitude.
Also included is an outtake from their upcoming release entitled “Sleeper,” which King explains is about a man’s observations as he waits in line for his “ersatz coffee.” The last track is a remix of “I Party All the Time” from Content, a “[tale] about getting down and keeping your head down.”
