Much like with 2008′s Feed the Animals, Gregg Gillis (aka acclaimed mashup DJ Girl Talk) has just released his latest studio album, All Day, for free on the internet.
All Day is available in two formats, as one continuous track and broken up into many tracks, but the artists clearly prefers us listening to it as one piece. (We’re going to now.) Otherwise, little information is given besides a thank you to the artists sampled and a promise for a future sample list and Flak files.
Gillis previously described the record as “his longest and most complex” effort to date. “I’m trying to make something that’s really, really complicated and has material that jumps around as far as possible in genre and style but, when you ultimately listen to it, it sounds like one cohesive piece of music.”
