With Valentine’s Day just a few months away, now’s the time to start planning (seriously, your girlfriend told us she loves advanced preparation). You could do something lame, like an overly expensive dinner or some play you’ll end up hating. However, if you happen to be in Phoenix, AZ that day, then you can solidify your love with a Pete Yorn show, a show that just so happens to be kicking off a U.S. tour on that most lovey dovey of days. Awwww!

From Phoenix, it’s onto shows in Salt Lake City, UT, Kansas City, MO, Chicago, IL, Detroit, MI, Portland, OR, and beyond.  After a final series of shows in California and Texas, the tour wraps up on April 22nd in Atlanta, GA. Opening for the entire tour will be Ben Kweller.  As if Kweller isn’t a special enough treat, those fans who buy tickets within the first 14 days via Ticketmaster will get a free download of Yorn’s latest self-titled effort. You should do that in order to get to know some of the songs he’ll be playing (plus, it’s pretty good).
