If you thought Bun  B was the trillest professor ever, then you’re in for a monster surprise. Swizz Beatz, producer to rap’s most iconic names, has been named the first Producer-in-Residence at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts (via The Boombox). Where you at, Rice University?!

For the remaining semester of the 2010-2011 academic school year, Swizz will work with students at NYU’s Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music in a number of ways. From songwriting critiques to one-on-one sessions to even hooking up pupils with some of his powerful and influential friends, it sounds like a glorious version of Fame (without all the dancing).

As it turns out, he probably has to do this as some sort of community service for producing the Limp Bizkit song “Rollin”. This only begins to make you and the rest of the world even, Swizz.
