After the recent departure of drummer Trivett Wingo, Texas quartet The Sword had postponed the remainder of their tour, which included dates in the U.S. and across Europe. As per a recent press release, fans in the U.S. can now rejoice because that portion of the tour has been re-detailed. Dates are set to begin in Baton Rouge, LA on November 27th and will run until December 16th before The Sword head on over to Australia for appearances at Soundwave Festival. Drummer Kevin Fender, formerly of the Austin, TX hardcore outfit Employer, Employee, will be taking over for Wingo on all dates, with stoner rock band Karma to Burn and Columbus rock outfit Mount Carmel set to hit the road as openers.

Tickets for the postponed dates will be honored at these shows. Those folks who don’t have any yet can pick them up at band’s official site.
