Minus opening an eBay account, Jack White has spent most of his recent time behind the soundboard working with the likes of Laura Marling, Dungen, and Reggie Watts. He’s also producing Wanda Jackson’s new album, The Party Ain’t Over, which Third Man Records will release on January 25th. As previously reported, Third Man offered us an early taste of what happens when White and Jackson join forces with the November 23rd release of a 7″ single featuring covers of Hank Williams and Bob Dylan. For the latter, Jackson and White chose to cover “Thunder on the Mountain”, off Dylan’s 2006 album Modern Times, and thanks to Cover Me, you can hear a recording of the cover below.
