Whether you like it or not, Melisa Young’s über-catchy songs have probably been stuck in your head once or twice before. The 30-year-old dance-floor femme-cee (better known as Kid Sister ) burst into your consciousness when she released “Pro Nails” with Kanye West two years ago and hasn’t looked back since. She released her debut LP, Ultraviolet, just over a year ago, and if that sonic snack is starting to get a little stale to you, then you’ll be glad to know that the Young has had a little something cooking up for you this whole time.

The Chicagoist has revealed that her new mixtape, Kiss Kiss Kiss, will be released via Fool’s Gold Records today. K³ is set to be a collection of the Chicago-based Young’s past collaborations with a few new freestyles thrown in, and the man behind the mix is Brooklyn resident, and Fool’s Gold co-founder, Nick Catchdubs. Kid Sister will play a string of European dates in the fall, but if you can’t wait until September, then head to The South where she’ll support of Montreal on a handful of tour stops this month starting with today’s show at the Soul Kitchen in Mobile, Ala.
