Watch: Cake, Fitz & the Tantrums play late night

It was a standard night of late night awesomeness (via Jimmy Fallon). After engaging in one of most spectacular late-night segments in recent memory (picture Paul Giamatti, Faith Hill, and Fallon tackling rooftop snowmen), J-Fal welcomed alt staples Cake for a performance of “Sick of You”, the lead single off their new LP Showroom of Compassion. Also, it’s nice to see that Sam Beam isn’t the only frontman who enjoys a plentiful amount of facial hair. Check out the clip above.

Across the country, late night’s other Jimmy hosted another of our favorites, soulful L.A. crew Fitz & the Tantrums. In support of last year’s Pickin’ Up the Piece, the Michael Fitzpatrick-lead outfit got to play two tracks, “MoneyGrabber” and “Don’t Gotta Work It Out”, which you can re-watch below.
